Viva Macau's Sports Betting Markets
Bookmaking is a service that brings together individuals that wish to take action on opposing sides of an event. It is the bookmaker's objective to set the markets at a price that makes each side of the

competition equally attractive, from a wagering perspective. For providing this service, the bookmaker takes a commission, typically 10% of the wager you place.
Our objective is to make markets available to our customers on their preferred events. When deciding what wagering options to make available, however, our bookmakers must determine if the popularity of an event will allow the house to take equal action on both sides. We will avoid offering markets when an upset is highly unlikely because there is no way to offer a reasonably priced wager. For example, this could occur in the first round of Wimbledon, where the first seeded player is matched against the last seeded player.

Viva Macau's Online Sports Betting Systems
Sportsbooks, like Viva Macau, typically purchase their opening lines from one of the major oddsmakers, such as Las Vegas Sports Consultants or the Hong Kong Jockey Club. From this selection, individual bookmakers determine which events will receive coverage and at what price.
This is highly dependent on the customer base the book is servicing. Once they finishing this filtering and adjusting process, they post their opening lines, which may or may not match the price set by other bookmakers.

After the opening lines are posted, the sportsbook manager continues to adjust the lines until the event begins. Prices listed on the lines take into account all relevant information and wagering activity up until that point. For this reason, sportsbook wagers are time sensitive, and therefore cannot be cancelled once they are placed.
Because individual bookmakers each decide which lines to offer and at which price, the listed prices will often vary among individual sportsbooks. For this reason, experienced punters will shop around when they have a specific wager in mind.
It is easiest to think about sportsbook wagering options in terms of the type of wager and the type of event you are placing it on.
In general, there are two types of sports betting options; straight bets and combination bets. A straight wager is a bet on the outcome of a single event. Viva Macau Sportsbook offers a number of straight wager options, including:
A combination wager is a single bet that links together the outcomes of two or more events. Viva Macau Sportsbook offers a number of combination wager options, including:
| Parlays | Teasers |
| Progressive Parlays | If Bet (Win adn Action) |
| Parlay Challenge | Reverse Wagers (Win and Action) |
